Formula and How It Works
Weighted grade = sum of (score × weight) ÷ sum of weights. The letter grade uses the common scale: A 90–100, B 80–89, C 70–79, D 60–69 and F below 60.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do the weights need to add up to 100?
No. The calculator divides by the total weight, so you can enter only the work completed so far.
How do I enter a score like 18 out of 20?
Convert it to a percentage first: 18 ÷ 20 × 100 = 90.
