How to Use the Days Between Dates Calculator

Formula and How It Works
Both dates are converted to a day number and subtracted: days = end date − start date. Weeks are days ÷ 7. Business days are counted one by one, skipping Saturdays and Sundays. Public holidays differ by country, so they are not removed automatically.

Is the start date included?
By default the result is the difference between the dates, which counts the start day but not the end day. Tick the option to include the end date as well.
How many business days are between two dates?
The calculator lists working days from Monday to Friday. Subtract any public holidays in your country to get the final number of working days.
