About the GPA Calculator

Your Grade Point Average (GPA) summarises your academic performance in one number. Add each course with its credit hours and letter grade, and the GPA calculator works out your weighted GPA on the common 4.0 scale.

How to Use the GPA Calculator

  1. Enter each course name (optional), its credit hours and the grade you received.
  2. Use “Add course” for more rows.
  3. Press Calculate to see your GPA and total credits.

Formula and How It Works

Each grade is turned into grade points (A = 4.0, B = 3.0, C = 2.0, D = 1.0, F = 0, with plus and minus steps). GPA = sum of (grade points × credits) ÷ total credits.
