Formula and How It Works
Fuel needed = distance ÷ fuel efficiency. Trip cost = fuel needed × price per liter (or gallon). For a return trip, double the distance.

How do I find my car’s fuel efficiency?
Fill the tank, reset the trip meter, drive normally, then refill. Divide the distance by the liters (or gallons) used.
How do I convert L/100 km to km per liter?
Divide 100 by the L/100 km figure. For example, 8 L/100 km = 12.5 km per liter.
